ecoBirdy redesigns discarded plastic into sustainable and ergonomic furniture. The brand offers aesthetically pleasing and functional designs for kids and grownups.

In 2018, after a two-year study that resulted in a recycled and recyclable plastic material named ecothylene®, and a patented upcycling process, ecoBirdy was launched with its debut collection of children’s furniture made from discarded plastic toys. Shortly after, it won multiple international awards for its innovative design and sustainable approach.

Today, ecoBirdy has expanded its collection with a line of ethical “grown-up” home décor. The Antwerp-based company has implemented social and environmental responsibility in every aspect of its business, and has been acknowledged by B corporation since 2019. Its designs are part of the permanent collections of leading museums across the world, such as the Young V&A Museum in London, the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna and the Design Museum Brussels.
